Daily Dog Walking

Same walker on a regular basis with an occasional substitute

Minimum 2 hour window for scheduled visits

Keys

2 (two)  sets of keys are required to begin service

Please be sure to test all keys before providing them to us to ensure unimpeded access to your pet(s).

Keys will be collected at our initial Meet & Greet session and kept in a secure location until the time of service.  One complimentary key return will be provided, however, any additional key pick up & drop off requests will incur a fee of $12 each occurrence.

Cancellation policy

Please provide 24 hours notice for any service cancellations or service requests.  Always follow up with us if you do not receive a confirmation via email by 10am. Cancellations and service requests without adequate notice are subject to an additional fee of $5.  Failure to cancel service in time and your walker arrives at your home, will result in a full charge for the service. Of course, we understand that unforeseen situations may arise, therefore, Divine Canine reserves the right to waive any cancellation or emergency service fees, per our discretion.  Cancellations or service requests must go through the office, not through our walkers.

Holidays

Holiday walks are by special request only, and subject to availability.  In the event that your dog’s regularly scheduled walk falls on a holiday, it is automatically canceled unless our office receives a special request for a holiday walk, which will incur an additional holiday fee of $10 + regular service rate.  Our observed holiday include: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve

Substitutions

In the event that your regular walker is not available to walk your dog(s), we will always provide a substitute. We do not inform clients ahead of time if there will be a substitute unless it is a permanent change. If you would like to be notified when there is going to be a substitute please let us know so we can note that preference in your account.

Parking

If you reside on a street or in a neighborhood in which a parking permit is required, or parking is not readily available during your scheduled service time, please provide us with zone passes or another location where we can park while tending to your pet(s).

Payments

Daily Dog Walking Services Invoices for the month’s services are sent via email on the last day of the month. Payment is due by the 10th of the following month. We do not currently accept credit card payment but gladly accept cash or checks. Payment can be left for the walker to bring to us or you can mail your payment to the office.

Some clients prefer to leave payment for the week on the last day of each week, which is also acceptable.  In which case, invoices will not be sent unless there is a discrepancy between the charges accrued and payments received.

Monthly VIP packages must be paid for in advance and payments MUST be received by the fifth day of the month to receive this discounted rate.  The monthly VIP packages are a flat rate, therefore invoices will NOT be sent.

Petsitting, Bed & Biscuit , and Vacation Services   50% of the estimated total cost of services is due PRIOR TO DEPARTURE, and the remaining balance of actual service charges is due within 48 hours of your return.

**Please note: All cash payments must be clearly marked in an envelope or with a note.  Our walkers will NOT collect any loose, unidentified cash.
